Disney Exploration Seminar Series

The Disney Exploration Series offers students the unique opportunity to learn more about how the Walt Disney World® Resort operates in key areas. Each topic showcases how “Disney Does Business” by introducing you to knowledge, career paths, and leaders that support the area. Attend a series, and be eligible to earn your Mouseters Degree by completing all four two-hour sessions! All offerings are subject to change.

Collegiate Courses

Each of the collegiate courses, which are recommended for college credit by the American Council on Education, are focused around an area of expertise within the Walt Disney Company and contains levels of academic rigor not uncommon to the classes you take at your own college or university. Participants who wish to register for a collegiate offering will need to be receiving academic credit or be required to take a collegiate offering in order to be eligible. All offerings are subject to change.

Disney Professional Development Studies

The Professional Development Studies allow students to study a specific line of business within the Walt Disney World® Resort. The topics are major-specific and are only offered to those majors listed in the description. All offerings are subject to change.

Entertainment Show Production


Independent Study Hall (Distance Learning)

Offered at Florida site. Independent Study Hall, formerly Distance Learning, provides participants who are taking online classes with a college or university a dedicated time blocked each week to focus on their studies. You will be required to supply documentation of the course during the registration process in to obtain this scheduled block of time on your work schedule.

Collegiate Courses

Each of the collegiate courses, which are recommended for college credit by the American Council on Education, are focused around an area of expertise within The Walt Disney Company and contains levels of academic rigor not uncommon to the classes you take at your own college or university. Participants will have required textbooks to read, papers to write and special projects to complete. The difference is that participants will be able to apply this knowledge immediately at their work location. All offerings are subject to change.

Seminar

The Seminar courses are designed to share Disney-specific information with the students about the overview of our Lines of Business and to offer networking opportunities with Disney Executives and Leaders. Each of these series consists of ten sessions, meeting once per week for three hours in length, over the course of the 11-week term. All offerings are subject to change.
